Amukela is located deep in the African bush, in the 40.000 hectare Balule Private Game Reserve. Balule is home to the Big-5 and is now open with the Greater Kruger National Park offering the animals free roaming between the Krugerpark and the private reserves. Offering affordable accommodation in Big-5 area this exclusive lodge is truly unique. Amukela is ideal located to explore the divers attractions in this region and for a self-drive or organized safari in Krugerpark. Bushwalks and game-drives can be booked, both conducted with a qualified guide. Subject to availability. Of course you can also just relax at the pool or on the terrace. Both have a view on the waterhole which is lit by a spotlight at night. Dinner is served in our boma (depending on weather conditions) under the breathtaking starlit sky. Enjoy typical African meals such as braai, bobotie en potjiekos and sit at the campfire listening to the voices of Africa. Unwind at this unique lodge and feel at home in our personal atmosphere.
